Photos of orthopedic pillows — product shots and infographics for e-commerce

At Snapshot Studio, we carried out a new product photoshoot designed specifically for online sales. This time, our lens focused on an orthopedic pillow, for which we prepared a complete set of visual materials for product presentation in an online store, on marketplace platforms, and in sales channels such as Amazon.


The scope of work included packshot photos on a white background, product photography showing the pillow’s shape and structure, as well as infographics presenting its features, dimensions, and key benefits. Part of the materials was prepared in German, allowing the client to use them also on German-speaking markets, for example on Amazon.de.





Professional Photography of Orthopedic Pillows




In the case of orthopedic pillows, a product photo should not be just an attractive image. Its main purpose is to present the product precisely — its functionality, shape, material, and intended use. A customer ordering online cannot touch the pillow, assess its shape, or personally test the softness of the material. For this reason, properly prepared photographs must answer potential questions and doubts before purchase in the clearest possible way.


During the photoshoot, we focused on presenting the product in a clear, aesthetic way, in line with e-commerce requirements. Photos on a white background perfectly show the pillow’s form, profile, and finishing details. This is especially important for orthopedic products, where the shape plays a key role — it should communicate ergonomics, comfort, and proper fit for the user.





Packshots on a White Background — the Standard in E-Commerce




Packshot photos are an extremely important element of every product page. When selling on platforms such as Amazon, Allegro, or in our own online store, clean photographs on a uniform background help maintain a professional image of the offer and increase trust in the product.


A well-prepared packshot should be neutral, clear, properly lit, and free from unnecessary details that could distract attention from the product itself. In our studio, we make sure that the photos meet marketplace standards while remaining aesthetic and ready to use in online sales.

In addition to traditional product photography, we also created sales-oriented infographics. This is an important element of modern e-commerce product promotion, as it allows key information to be communicated quickly without the need to analyze long blocks of text.

In infographics for an orthopedic pillow, it is possible to present, among other things, the product dimensions, its ergonomic shape, intended use, material properties, method of use, and the most important benefits for the customer. As a result, the buyer can understand within just a few seconds what makes the product stand out and why it is worth paying attention to.


What Information Is Worth Presenting in Infographics?




For products such as orthopedic pillows, infographics can effectively illustrate:

1. Pillow dimensions — length, width, height, and profile.
2. Shape and structure — for example, contouring, support zones, or ergonomic design.
3. Key properties — materials used, breathability, cover, and ease of cleaning.
4. Use cases — sleeping on the back, sleeping on the side, relaxation, and everyday use.
5. User benefits — comfort, stable support, and a clearer presentation of the product’s features.

To sell on Amazon, product photos must be particularly precise. The main image should be clear, technical, and compliant with the platform’s guidelines. Additional images can significantly support sales by showing details, features, dimensions, uses, and the benefits of the product.


That is why, in projects like this, we create visual materials that combine aesthetics with a sales-oriented function. A product is photographed differently for a catalogue than for an offer that has to compete with many similar products. In e-commerce, every image has its own role: the first one attracts attention, the next ones build trust, and infographics make the purchasing decision easier.












How Do We Photograph Pillows and Textile Products?




To photograph pillows, mattresses, fabrics, and other soft products, proper preparation is essential. These items can easily change their shape, bend, crease, or appear less appealing when photographed in unsuitable lighting. That is why, before the photoshoot, we make sure the product is properly arranged, has the right form, the material is clean, and the presentation method is appropriate.


Lighting also plays a key role. In the case of white or light-colored products, we need to find the right balance so as not to overexpose the surface while still showing the texture of the material. For orthopedic products, it is also important to present the profile and height, which is why we take photos from different angles — from the front, from the side, from above, and at a slight angle.

    In this particular project, the goal was to create a set of materials that the client could use immediately for sales: as the main image, additional photos, informational graphics, and materials supporting the product description. Such a set makes it possible to create a more convincing product page and present the product’s benefits more effectively.
