Product photography for Q&Q watches
In today's post, I have focused on the photography, of small but extremely detailed products such as watches. Packshot photos of these small products require extraordinary precision and experience because, according to our motto - here really every detail matters! :)

Recently, we had the unusual pleasure of realising a photo session for the new collection of Q&Q watches, whose distributor is ZIBI S.A. company.
Q&Q watches is a brand originating from the Citizen concern, established in 1976. Since its inception, the company's watches have sold more than 20 million copies and over 2000 different models are available in the regular offer.
Both men's, women's and children's watches were featured in our product photography studio. The main focus was on elegant and casual style watches, but there were also photos of sports watches.
All photos were taken using a professional lens with macro function, and with the use of special lighting and a shadowless tent.
Before they were photographed, however, they had to be properly prepared, i.e. cleaned of all imprints, dust and dirt.
The "raw photos" were then taken by our skilled retouchers Kasia and Klaudia, who subjected them to precise and time-consuming graphic processing.
This post-production process for a product photograph taken against a white background includes, among other things:
Removal of impurities (so-called 'creasing')
Correct framing with consistency for all product images - so that they look good in product catalogues, for example
Tone correction, improvement of lighting
Preparation of the file into a format suitable for web browsers (RGB | JPG) - including for use in online shops / Allegro - the length of the larger side for each image is usually 2600px for images used on the web and 4500px for images of products intended for printing
We issue an individual licence for all product images taken by us, documenting the rights to the images used.
